Recent APT Conference in Louisville!
The annual APT conference was last held in Louisville, Ky. from Oct 12 - 17, 2010. TNAPT council members Victoria Davidson, Jamie Langley, Carolyn Tipton and Ellen Slicker were able to attend the conference this year in Louisville, and Paris Goodyear-Brown was a presenter. There were many fabulous training opportunities as well as play therapy vendors from all over the country. It was a great time to learn, network and expland play therapy resources.
We were very privledged to have the last two national conferences in neighboring states, as the 2009 APT conference was held in Atlanta, GA.
The conference this year is in California- so much more of a road trip or flying excursion for those who get the opportunity to attend. But then it returns a little closer in 2012 to Ohio. Below is a listing of upcoming APT conferences. You might even decide to amke one a vacation destination as you also work in some training!
